Christian schools are notoriously under-funded for the
task at hand. Quality educational experiences require money.
There is always a huge gap between basic financial requirements
and the extra funds needed for growth and expansion. In order for
a school to flourish it needs a means of raising outside dollars
beyond the traditional tuition and fund raisers.
A successful development program must have someone to coordinate the projects and programs of fundraising. We suggest incorporating a Development Director in your administrative plans. One of the tasks of the Development Director would be to cultivate a linkage with constituents into a rational giving relationship with the school and the school’s mission. When it comes to funding we should always "Ponder anew what the Lord can do!"
