The Master Plan

Disturbing Statistics!
Recently the Institute for Christian School Development, Woodland Park, Colorado, in their survey on "The Developmental Health of Christian Schools in North America" reported that:
* 47% of all Christian Schools do not end the year in the black.
* 33% report their future is in serious jeopardy.
* Only 20%, at present, are able to survive another year.
The master/long-range plan helps the board focus on the various alternatives for future development. It also provides a vehicle to insure continuity between changes in administrations. All schools should have a plan even though it be small. Once a plan is in place, all efforts can be brought to bear on achieving the selected goals and to evaluate progress. Annual reviews will provide adjustments as necessary. There is an old axiom that is true today. "Plan your work and work your plan".
