readers to search for information on science related topics. Some of the sites are for
specific topics, such as astronomy; other sites may be used to search for a wide range of
science topics.

least two pages long. Put the following information on a piece of notebook paper:
Your heading. After the heading, SKIP A LINE,
List the name of the article and list the pages on which
the article can be found.
On the next line list the:

date
volume
number

Write ten (10) facts or ideas you learned from this article:
Use complete sentences
Skip lines between facts
Number each fact
Be sure facts come from an entire article
Avoid pronouns: it, they for example: (1) They were destroyed by it. should read:
(1) The fish and bird life of Santa Monica was destroyed by
the California oil spill of 1993.
Write one paragraph summarizing your opinion of
the information in the article.
Be sure that you have followed all the
